The internal PSN developer network is apparently back online, according to some reports that suggest online play, matchmaking and other services may be back very soon.
The official PlaystationNL Twitter account just posted this new information that will certainly please PS3 fans all around the world. According to them, the PSN is being tested by select individuals across Europe, US and Japan. This means Sony is just making sure that everything is in order and would be soon beginning to resume services across all territories.
NeoGAF user Kagari has claimed that "The internal PSN developer network is online again,". He also said that a number of developers have confirmed these reports. "Things are still a bit shaky at the moment such as lack of new account sign up. Looks like the network, at least the online play/account part of it, will be back soon."
In their official blog postings, however, Sony is keeping pretty quiet. The last update from Patrick Seybold claiming that the PSN will be up in the next few days. However, There is no indication of specific dates or even estimates of when the network will be back up.
We are just hoping that the Playstation Network will be back online soon. Although these new developments don't provide specifics on when the PSN will be back up for everybody, is nice to see Sony is moving steadily towards getting all of its Playstation services back up.
